RDT cables are part of Leviton's two new Cat 6A end-to-end systems: the ATLAS-X1™ RDT MILLENNIUM System with the high-performance ATLAS-X1 socket and the EXTREME™ RDT MILLENNIUM System with the high-performance EXTREME socket.
Both sockets take advantage of Leviton's Patented Retention Force Technology™ (RFT), which, thanks to a polymer spring, reinforces the connector pins and improves their resistance to tension and damage. As a result, it helps increase connector lifespan and system longevity, reducing the need for technician calls.
The new systems also benefit from Leviton Precision Twist Technology, a unique production method that controls the twisting capacity of each pair in the RDT cable, making excellent transmission performance possible in the smaller cable dimensions.
Furthermore, RDT Cat 6A UTP plenum, riser and CPR cables are more sustainable, as their smaller size and weight allow for a reduced carbon footprint in manufacturing and distribution processes.
These cables are available from COFITEL in user-friendly box packaging. The new TEKPAK™ boxes feature the patented TekLok™ tab system to keep stacks of boxes stable during cable deployment, simplifying the transport, stacking, and deployment of Cat 6A RDT UTP cable.
