The R&S THV9evo incorporates efficiency optimization. This feature proves its value when adjusting output power or during channel changes. An intelligent algorithm, activated by pressing a button or adaptively, optimizes the amplifier parameters so the transmitter operates with maximum energy efficiency.
The MultiTX function allows for optimal use of the often limited space in the transmitter site. A liquid-cooled power supply in the amplifiers ensures a longer lifespan and reduces both noise levels and temperature at the transmitter site. It also reduces the cost of cooling the operating rooms, which lowers maintenance requirements for the entire system and makes it less prone to failure.
The transmitter is unique in combining a maximum efficiency of up to 50 percent with the ability to utilize the entire VHF band, thanks to Doherty multiband technology.
The R&S THV9evo liquid-cooled high-power VHF transmitter covers the output power range from 1.3 kW to 30 kW.
