The GPJ09-5817 protective torpedoes have a greater number of outlets than previous versions. Specifically, they feature four inlets for branch cables with diameters from 14 to 20 mm, twelve inlets for branch cables from 8 to 16 mm, and one oval inlet for cables from 8 to 25 mm.
The base has a sealing gasket and closes to the cover using a ring-type pressure system.
All torpedoes, which operate in the temperature range of -40 to +65 °C, are supplied with a pole/wall fixing kit, a roll of insulating tape, twenty nylon cable ties, sandpaper and various heat shrink tubes.
