Sirocco HD microduct cables utilize Prysmian's 200µm BendBright-A2 single-mode fiber (ITU-T G.657.D, G.657.A2), which is bend-insensitive, providing a solution ready for future-proof systems, fully compatible with any existing legacy G652 fiber, and truly future-proof.

Available with fiber counts from 96 to 864 and compliant with international optical and mechanical performance standards, Sirocco HD cables also benefit from Prysmian's PicoTube technology, making them up to 20% smaller than previously available microduct cables. This allows for more fibers to be installed in congested duct spaces and enables the use of smaller conduits for new installations, resulting in lower installation costs and reduced raw material usage. The smaller diameters and higher fiber densities not only save costs for telecommunications network owners and builders but also allow them to reduce their carbon and environmental footprint to meet sustainability goals and requirements.
