OV-100R, MGM and FSH-800R families for fiber optics
The additions consist of the OV-100R family, the MGM family, and the FSH-800F family.
The first involves new media converter models. These devices convert signals between RS232/422/485 serial ports and Ethernet, with web-based management capabilities. The interface provides intuitive functions and easy-to-configure menus. They are compatible with software that creates a virtual COM port on the personal computer. This allows users to utilize the original software for serial port devices.
For this very reason, no new software will be required, resulting in a very low implementation cost for connecting these devices to a TCP/IP Ethernet network.
The models feature SC or ST connectors for multimode fiber, and versions with DB25 connectors and single-mode fiber up to 120 km are also available.
The MGM family consists of Mini GBIC modules, which, together with available GBIC-slotted switches, provide long-range data transmission with a bandwidth of up to 1000 Mbps. Thanks to their fiber optic transmission, distances can range from 550 m to several kilometers, depending on the model.
Finally, the FSH-800F family has been specifically designed for fiber optic users. These switches are equipped with up to eight 100Base-FX fiber optic ports. They offer the necessary bandwidth to meet the requirements of small and medium-sized businesses in terms of quality, flexibility, and reliability, as well as simple installation and use. The RJ45 ports feature 10/100 auto-negotiation technology, allowing seamless compatibility between 10 and 100 Mbps devices, and support half-duplex and full-duplex transmission.
The non-blocking architecture ensures sufficient bandwidth for multimedia files, image files, photos, and videos.
