All units have been developed to operate within an extended temperature range of -40 to +74 °C and, thanks to their compact size and robust construction, can be easily installed in any environment, with surface (stand-alone) or DIN rail mounting options. Some converters can also be mounted in 19” PAWAL racks. Furthermore, they are completely transparent to communications and require no configuration.
Fast Ethernet
This product group includes UTP-to-fiber optic media converters with optional 30W PoE+ for powering compatible devices over UTP, such as cameras, access points (APs), and other network equipment. Switches are also available in models with one fiber and four copper ports, or two fiber and three copper ports, all with very low power consumption and a compact size. Furthermore, these devices can be configured to perform fiber changes, for example, from multimode to single-mode, from two single-mode fibers to one multimode fiber, and so on. This allows for a quick solution for various installations.
Gigabit Ethernet.
This family comprises two groups. On one hand, there are UTP-to-fiber optic media converters with an optional 30W PoE+ for powering other network devices over UTP. On the other hand, there are switches available in two compact configurations with minimal power consumption.
All models in the new 2020 range are manufactured by ADILEC at their facilities in Molins de Rei (Barcelona) and come with technical support and warranty service in Spain, as well as additional support from the COFITEL Group.
