It is this experience that provided a platform for Paul to assume a leadership position as a board member at APOLAN. Going forward, beginning in February 2019, Paul will assume the position of Chairman of APOLAN to continue sharing his expertise to generate more market opportunities for fiber-based networks in the US market.

Speaking about his position on the board, Paul commented: "APOLAN has long been an advocate for promoting the growth and awareness of POL and I am thoroughly enjoying being part of the team.".

APOLAN, the Association for Passive Optical LAN, is a non-profit organization that promotes the adoption of and educates the market about the technical and economic advantages of passive optical LAN technology. Through its membership, which comprises manufacturers, distributors, integrators, and consulting firms actively involved in the market, the Association helps designers, engineers, architects, building owners, CIOs, and IT departments successfully implement and use passive optical LAN.
