Organized by the ITU, the United Nations specialized agency for ICTs, ITU Telecom World 2015 will be hosted by the Government of Hungary and will bring together an audience of top-level representatives from the public and private sectors around the world.

“Hungary is eager to welcome delegates from around the world to Budapest for ITU Telecom World 2015,” said Mr. Miklós Seszták, Hungary’s Minister of National Development. “We hope to showcase Hungary’s potential in the ICT sector and also act as a strategic bridge for dialogue between stakeholders worldwide.”

The key themes discussed at ITU Telecom World 2014, which will form the basis for discussions at ITU Telecom World 2015, include the latest developments related to digital cities, artificial intelligence, wearable technology, body sensor networks, the various uses of big data, cloud-based mobile networks, the computerization of network elements, the transition from ICT to ICTs, as well as cross-sector partnerships, collaboration and cooperation.
