“This new expansion will allow Interxion customers to optimize bandwidth and access Hurricane Electric’s global network.”
The new point of presence (PoP) will expand access via 10GE (10 Gigabit Ethernet), GigE (1 Gigabit Ethernet), and 100BaseT network connections and reduce latency and router hops for Interxion traffic.
This expansion will allow Hurricane Electric to improve fault tolerance, load balancing, and traffic management across its IP connectivity services, including the transit of next-generation IPv6 traffic, as well as IPv4. Furthermore, this expansion will allow Interxion customers to optimize bandwidth and access Hurricane Electric’s global network.
“Hurricane Electric is delighted to expand its network in Madrid with Interxion,” said Mike Leber, President of Hurricane Electric. “This new expansion will allow Interxion customers to optimize bandwidth and access Hurricane Electric’s global network.” “Hurricane Electric continues to strategically expand its network around the world and we will continue to make new announcements in the coming months.”
