The new node will be equipped with the most advanced security protocols within the framework of the CIS Master Plan (PDCIS), both for information exchange between existing security domains within the Ministry and between each of these domains and external entities.
Under the contract, BT will be responsible for hardware and software maintenance services for the project, supply and install the necessary additional infrastructure, perform node operation and management tasks, and provide the communication lines to guarantee external connections. The agreement also includes BT conducting the studies and work related to the implementation of the new interconnection node.
The new interconnection node will simplify information management and monitoring, facilitating remote access for authorized users, information exchange between information systems in different domains within the Ministry, access to remote networks, and free access to publicly available content. All of this will be done while guaranteeing security services.
