Tracey Calcutt, Commercial Director, comments: “Since the publication of the first edition of the Encyclopedia in September 2010, it has been very well received thanks to its content and the usefulness of the information included, not only about Excel, but about structured cabling in general.
In this third edition, we have updated all the information and added new explanations, graphics, and, in short, more useful content. We have also produced more SCS infrastructure specification documents to help our partners respond to complex tenders for Categories 6A, 6, 5e, and for data centers, which can be downloaded from the Business Area of the Excel website.
A large part of the Encyclopedia has been written by key members of our team, including two RCDD-accredited technicians. One of them is Paul Cave, former president of the European Committee for Standardization (BISCI), so readers can be confident that they are using a reliable source of information written by people who know what they are talking about.”
The Excel Encyclopedia is available electronically on the Excel website and allows users to copy and paste information relevant to their needs. It also provides links to detailed product information in the online catalog.
The third edition of the Excel Encyclopedia is available in Spanish, French, and English.
