Interoute provides Sofia Connect with a comprehensive network service from Sofia, Bulgaria, to Frankfurt, Germany, passing through some of the world's major network hubs (including Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Prague, and Munich) over its advanced pan-European network. Interoute designed and integrated a solution for Sofia Connect in three days and, thanks to its global presence and commercial agility, was able to guarantee and deliver the solution in just three weeks, helping Sofia Connect manage the growing traffic of the Caucasus Submarine Cable System in the Black Sea.

Network infrastructure is the engine room of the underlying economy's connectivity, communication, and commerce. Interoute's unified transport portfolio connects diverse platforms and technologies to provide interconnections or connectivity between data center locations, ranging from simple point-to-point services to more complex multipoint Carrier Ethernet solutions, as well as direct connectivity to Interoute's cloud offering, the Interoute Virtual Data Centre (VDC), and other cloud providers.

Yuliy Nushev, CEO and owner of Sofia Connect, commented: “We have been working with Interoute for four years and our relationship continues. Interoute creates innovative services and is able to deliver complex solutions in short timeframes, which is exactly what we needed. Speed and flexibility are key to our operations, and we were confident at every stage of the deployment that these commitments would be met.”

Renzo Ravaglia, Vice President of Service Provider for Europe at Interoute, added: “We are very proud to continue working with Sofia Connect and to achieve its goals. This strengthens Interoute’s position in the EEC region. We have a dynamic 100G transport network that can serve the emerging demands of the telecommunications market, not only in terms of capacity and technology, but also in terms of fast delivery time.”
