At the summit, Huawei presented new solutions for the public safety and energy sectors, as well as new resources and global verification platforms. Wireless broadband private network provider Bei Xun and port manufacturing representative Zhenhua Heavy Industries shared their experiences with successful digital transformation through eLTE.

New Markets: Expanding Wireless Network Adoption Across Industry.
The eLTE Industry Alliance is becoming a key platform for driving eLTE solution applications, solution innovation, and standards evolution. As a result, it has attracted 16 new members, including Wasion and Sanchuan, and the Alliance's total membership has grown to over 100 members from across the industry's value chain. While eLTE was initially used primarily in the public safety sector, organizations and ecosystem providers are now deploying eLTE solutions in new markets, including smart cities, smart grids, and smart campuses.

Chen Jiachun, deputy director of the Communication Development Department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that private wireless networks have been widely adopted by government, enterprises, and other sectors, promoting economic transformation and accelerating the development of the eLTE ecosystem.
New solutions: Advancement of eLTE private wireless network applications.
The information and analysis agency IHS predicted that the growth of the private LTE network market will exceed $2 billion in 2018, an increase driven by the rising use of data services and the growing number of LTE users for emergency communications.

With significant growth in the adoption of private wireless eLTE networks anticipated in utilities, transportation, and industrial sectors, the Alliance presented new eLTE solutions for government, smart cities, and smart campus applications. In addition, partners also shared a range of new eLTE-based applications, terminals, and best practices.

New Ecosystem: Alliance Member Support Program Update.
To promote the sustainable development of the eLTE ecosystem, the Alliance introduced more platform resources, including a new license-free development package that assists IoT terminal developers and an international OpenLab support program that allows Alliance members to test innovative solutions through seven OpenLabs worldwide.
Partners such as Di'aisi, Hikvisions, and Zhenhua Heavy Industries, along with end users, shared their development process and commercial progress of new eLTE-based products, highlighting the Alliance's value in terms of joint solution innovation.
Peter Zhou, Marketing Director of Huawei Wireless Solutions, stated, "We are delighted that eLTE wireless private network solutions are being widely adopted to drive digital transformation across various industries. As one of the founding members of the eLTE Industry Alliance, Huawei continues to collaborate with partners to jointly develop innovative eLTE solutions for industries and enterprises, thereby building a mature industry chain that helps them thrive in today's competitive digital landscape."
