To enable users to discover and try out services at each new data center, OVH has designed exclusive "Discover OVH" offers.
Each month, new services, which will vary by country, will be added to the existing product range: dedicated servers, VPS, public cloud, and private cloud. In the future, OVH aims to make all solutions available to its customers worldwide through a single customer area and API to optimize the user experience.
With a capacity of nearly 45,000 servers, this first German data center is located less than a millisecond from Frankfurt and, through this point of presence, has direct connections to Brussels, Strasbourg, and Prague, and from there to Paris, Amsterdam, London, and Milan.
All services offered in the new data centers include DDoS protection, which OVH provides free of charge as standard, as well as the vRack service, which allows for the isolated interconnection of services located in one or more of its data centers worldwide, enabling users to build complex private infrastructures.
OVH, which launched an ambitious international development plan last fall, is currently building another data center in the UK and two more in the US (on the East and West Coasts). At the end of its development plan, OVH will be able to offer its customers hosting in data centers in eleven different countries across four continents, connected through its own global network with a current capacity of over 11 Tbps.
