The implemented eODN solution offers more practical configuration adjustments, faster fault location, and more accurate resource information, enabling operators to deploy high-performance, intelligent optical networks. The end-to-end (E2E) solution covers both the fiber network construction and network management phases, providing a high degree of flexibility.

During the fiber network construction phase, operators can use eODN's Geographic Information System (GIS) based on fiber network planning software, single-core cables per tube (SCPT), joint closures, and pre-terminated products to build faster and less expensive fiber networks. In the fiber network operation and maintenance (O&M) phase, smart electronic tags, an online fiber fault monitoring system, traceable network patch cords, and smart sensors make network maintenance much easier and more efficient.

Designed for easy construction, handling, and rapid expansion, the enhanced eODN solution offers new features such as passive electronic locking, and allows customers to optimize service adjustment functions, data entry, resource management, and resulting fault location in smart networks at the port, node, and link levels.
