Astute Electronics has launched an electromechanical division. Heading the new division will be Gary Evans, who has several years of experience in international sales and marketing at leading connector companies including Deutsch, ITT, and Harwin. Evans is supported by Astute's highly experienced technical design staff and renowned in-house sales teams.

The division launches with six major franchises: Amphenol, Airborn, Delphi, Fischer, Positronic, and Quell. Evans explains that the initial manufacturing partners were chosen for the innovative products and technologies they offer, as well as their applicability to Astute's key customer base, which includes many of the world's leading defense and high-reliability companies.
