Arbizu has extensive experience in cybersecurity and telecommunications. According to company sources, EfficientIP closed 2015 with a turnover of 15 million euros and growth exceeding 50% in Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific.
In his new role, Alberto Arbizu has a dual objective. First, to consolidate the existing DDI business and build on the success the company is achieving with its DNS security solutions, which are currently one of the most dangerous risks facing businesses. Second, his mission will be to strengthen EfficientIP's channel relationships by generating new business opportunities in security.

The company also announced the appointment of Paulo Vieira Lopes as Country Sales Manager for Portugal and Brazil, whose objective will be to conquer new markets. With over 25 years of experience in the ICT sector, Vieira has worked at organizations such as Time Sharing, TechData, and Extreme Networks.

David Williamson, CEO of EfficientIP, stated that “growing EfficientIP is among our top priorities for 2017 and we are delighted to have Alberto Arbizu and Paulo Vieira on board to increase our presence in Spain, Portugal and Latin America.”

Thus, Alberto Arbizu, as the new Regional Sales Manager for Iberia, faces this new stage of his professional career with great enthusiasm and a desire to meet the expectations his appointment has generated. “It is an honor for me that EfficientIP trusts in my experience and knowledge to bring its vision for DNS security to fruition. In less than two years, the new EU data protection regulations will come into effect, making companies responsible for all security breaches and potentially subject to significant fines. It is becoming crucial that companies start taking DNS security seriously,” he states.

Alberto Arbizu has developed a solid professional career in the cybersecurity and communications sector. His positions include Sales Manager at Citrix Systems and Global Account Manager at Juniper Networks. In the cybersecurity field, he has served as Country Manager for Secure Computing and Bluecoat. He holds a degree in Business Administration from UNED and a Master's degree from IE Business School.
