Vertiv's Pelzer factory will produce a variety of infrastructure solutions, including integrated modular solutions, modular power systems, and other integrated systems, leveraging Vertiv's extensive portfolio of power, cooling, and IT infrastructure technologies for data centers. These prefabricated and pre-installed solutions are thoroughly tested at the factory as integrated systems, significantly reducing on-site labor requirements and overall data center launch times. Vertiv's integrated modular solutions also provide a pathway for customers to confidently expand their operations in the future.

“Our global infrastructure solutions business is in a very strong position and is experiencing robust growth as demand for AI accelerates and our customers realize the value of an integrated approach to facilitate faster deployment of computing power,” said Vertiv CEO Giordano (Gio) Albertazzi. “Increasing manufacturing capacity is critical to meeting our customers’ needs, and Vertiv’s operations in Pelzer are a key part of that mission for our operations in the Americas region and globally.”

In addition to the new facility in Pelzer, Vertiv also has a switchgear and busbar production plant in nearby Anderson, South Carolina. Vertiv has increased the capacity of its infrastructure solutions, switchgear, and busbar businesses through utilization improvements and expansion of its presence in the United States, Mexico, Slovakia, the United Arab Emirates, Ireland, and Northern Ireland.
