These features of transparency, the absence of latency, and support for multiprotocol services are reflected in each of the FTX cards that act as interfaces in the DUSAC family.

FTX cards allow, on the one hand, connection to user equipment through the local port based on LC connectors, single-mode (SR) or multi-mode (LR) and, on the other hand, connection to an optical multiplexer module through a laser, tunable at different wavelengths, proprietary to Fibernet, which defines the line port.

FTX-n Interface:
The new FTX-n card, developed by Fibernet, maintains all the features that characterize the DUSAC family while offering greater versatility in terms of supported protocols. It is an optical transponder that supports a bidirectional digital user channel, enabling speeds between 1 and 10 Gbps over the same device through a single interface.  
This interface provides connectivity services for networking (Ethernet), mainframe (ISC-3, Infiniband), and storage (FiberChannel) environments, switching between service types with a simple remote configuration change. Furthermore, it adds advanced management features that allow the operator to monitor service parameters in real time.
