The new version includes features that allow Data Center operators to design, manage and execute workflow tasks more efficiently, as well as security improvements for Meltdown and Spectre.
Among the new features of version 8.2, the following stand out:
• Workflow planning improvements: In the client interface, new workflow processes replace templates, mandatory work orders can be set alongside processes, and verification tasks can be added to the beginning and end of the workflow view. Additionally, work orders can now be required to follow a specific process, and new permissions are available for workflow management.
• Improved management in Active Directory and LDAP: Users can search for users and groups on the authentication server and send emails to individual users for work orders. By adding a group from the authentication server (AD or LDAP), all users in that group can log in without needing to create separate users.
• Plant equipment planning: The functionality of work orders has been expanded so that the placement of equipment in the plant can be recorded, using coordinates to locate them and reserve the space.

The modeling of ATS racks has been improved, particularly regarding capacity management.
