The new FLIR FX camera allows you to store recordings on FLIR Cloud for anywhere from 48 hours (free subscription) to 30 days (paid subscription). This cloud storage technology allows you to view recordings from anywhere in the world via the internet.
To help visualize the recordings, the exclusive RapidRecap technology condenses hours of video into minutes, for faster review without missing any events, and also allows you to overlay captures and choose the most appropriate time frame.
Viewing RapidRecap videos is easy with the FLIR FX mobile app, available for iOS and Android. The app also includes features that allow you to create alerts for specific events, as well as control and monitor multiple cameras.
It features Wi-Fi connectivity for accessing the cloud or configuring it as a personal hotspot (150 meters). Additionally, the USB port allows users to transfer data or use it as a power source. It comes with a power adapter and a battery that lasts up to two hours.
Other impressive features include a 4-megapixel sensor capable of capturing high-definition video at up to 1080p/30fps, and six front-facing infrared LEDs that provide a night vision range of up to 10 meters, extendable to 20 meters with the optional outdoor housing.
The FLIR FX range offers accessories to adjust the camera and use it in different applications. The mounting bracket allows for installation as a dashcam, the outdoor housing (already mentioned in the previous paragraph) has IP67 protection to shield the camera from harsh conditions, and the IP68-rated housing (meaning it's submersible to 20 meters) is ideal for a wide range of professional and sports applications.
A camera to monitor building access (or supervise building use), detect movements in specific areas with alerts sent to a mobile device, for home use, as a dashboard camera, and for sports.
