camera-KPC-EW38P-wThere are applications where light contrasts are high, or situations in outdoor cameras where it is inevitable that for a few hours during the day the sun will dazzle us and cause us to lose the foreground image due to the strong light contrasts that occur in the different planes of the image.

To avoid this, special video sensors are used that quickly perform a double scan of the image with different shutter speeds, thus obtaining two very different images based on the brightness of the different planes. These images are then mixed by zones, ensuring that neither plane is blinded by the different brightness levels in the other. This technology achieves dynamic ranges of over 100 dB.
The new EW38PUP4 camera offers this technology using a SONY Double SCAN SUPER HAD II module in a miniature camera measuring only 38 x 38 mm.
It has a resolution of 700 lines and a sensitivity of 0.1 lux. For increased sensitivity, it features the DSS (Digital Shutter) function, achieving sensitivities down to 0.000001 (X256).

It features a small rear joystick for configuring all options via its OSD (on-screen menu), including:
- WDR: adjustable levels
- Masking areas
- Video motion
- Digital Day/Night
- White balance
- Image Mirror/Flip
- Digital Zoom (3x)
- 2D/3D noise reduction filters
- AGC.
All of this allows for ideal adaptation to any situation. It is especially suitable for installation in ATMs, outdoor industrial cameras, access control systems focused on the entrance door, and generally any situation where low light levels prevent perfect vision across the entire field of view.
It comes with a 4.3mm super cone pinhole lens; however, different lens types are available upon request.
It operates on 24V AC and has a current draw of 2.5A.
