Panasonic has created the i-PRO Configuration Tool software. This kit allows for easy setup of an AI video surveillance system using a PC and a simple internet connection. Its key feature is that it enables not only complete adjustment of IP cameras but also total control over the system, starting with individual settings. The comprehensive overview and control provided by this software extends beyond simply troubleshooting a single device, allowing the installer to manage the entire system.
The tool simplifies the list of tasks that an installer must perform on machines, even once they are configured, starting with automatic system and firewall updates.
Antonella Sciortino explains: “Although designed as a peripheral device, each individual i-PRO camera plays a crucial role within the surveillance system. It has the task, and therefore the responsibility, of carrying out specific detection processes. Consequently, it handles the advanced processing of specific details, offering a range of applications. This translates into enormous potential for improving the overall performance of the plant.”
The AI app guarantees instant access to intelligent security features, such as intrusion detection or suspicious movement detection within the scene, while preserving privacy in compliance with GDPR and independently managing image metadata, extracting and offering it directly through the management client. In this way, it automatically and directly provides essential content and data for use in statistical, marketing, commercial, and even forensic analysis.
