The device allows for the connection of up to four native 4K displays and is designed for environments requiring high computing power, long-term stability, low latency, and operation independent of cloud connections for specific AI applications. Potential uses include control rooms, monitoring centers, industrial HMIs, machine dashboards, predictive maintenance visualization, and AI-based quality control applications.
The Giada D108 incorporates AMD Ryzen 7000 and 8000 series processors. In its top configuration, based on an AMD Ryzen 7 8000 series processor with an integrated Ryzen AI NPU, the system achieves a total performance of up to 38 TOPS, with 16 TOPS dedicated specifically to AI tasks. This capability allows for the execution of artificial intelligence models directly on the device itself, reducing latency and eliminating the need for constant cloud reliance.
In industrial and production environments, this local processing capability allows the device to be used in applications where information needs to be visualized and processed close to the point of operation. The Giada D108 can be used, for example, to display machine data, support AI-based quality control processes, or visualize information related to predictive maintenance.
Four 4K outputs for multi-display environments
The Giada D108 is equipped with AMD Radeon 780M or 760M graphics and features four HDMI 2.0 ports with EDID support. This configuration allows for up to four displays to operate simultaneously with resolutions up to 4K, with a maximum of 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz.
EDID support helps maintain monitor assignments even during maintenance or replacement operations, a crucial aspect in professional installations where continuity and accurate on-screen information display are essential. Therefore, the device is ideal for control rooms, monitoring centers, industrial HMIs, and demanding multi-monitor workstations.
Its graphics performance also allows for smooth playback of 3D content, real-time visualizations, and interactive experiences via touchscreens, voice, or sensors—applications that can be relevant in industrial environments as well as in corporate spaces, retail, or hospitality.
A high-performance AMD alternative within the Giada portfolio
The Giada D108 is a high-performance, compact PC based on x86 architecture and with a book-size form factor, measuring 205 x 130 x 32 mm. Within the Giada portfolio, it is positioned as an AMD alternative for projects requiring graphics performance, computing power, and stability in professional environments.
Depending on the chosen configuration, with AMD Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 processors, the system can reach up to 30,000 PassMark points, placing it above other Intel-based embedded PCs in the same category, with a chassis only slightly larger.
The device supports up to 96 GB of dual-channel DDR5 memory and allows for storage expansion via an M.2 slot. It is available with Windows 11 and Linux Ubuntu.
Connectivity for professional integration
To facilitate its integration into different professional environments, the Giada D108 includes six USB ports, five USB 3.2 Gen2 and one USB 2.0, an RS232 COM port optionally expandable to two, two LAN connections to securely separate intranet and internet, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G, 4G or 5G mobile connectivity.
This connectivity allows the equipment to be adapted to installations that combine screens, peripherals, wired networks, wireless communications and mobile connection, while maintaining a compact format and a high level of performance.
In addition to its use in industry and production, the Giada D108 can also be used in smart spaces and building technology. Thanks to its edge intelligence capabilities, the player can be used for occupancy analysis, presence-based energy optimization, and security and access zone monitoring.
These applications leverage the local processing power of the computer to reduce reliance on the cloud, improve response times, and facilitate the use of AI in environments where privacy and data control are relevant.
The Giada D108 is now available in Spain through Concept International.
Concept International also offers its customers its Total Preparation Service program, through which equipment can be delivered individually configured and tailored to each project, even in large-scale deployments. This service can include, for example, software pre-installation, specific adjustments, or customized configurations before delivery.
