The new Draco vario Dual Link and DisplayPort extenders enable 4K video transmission to a single monitor at resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 30 Hz and 2560 x 2048 at 60 Hz.
The extenders can be used in pairs to extend signal transmission up to 140 m with Cat X cable or 10 km with fiber optic cable. They are compatible with all Draco tera KVM matrix switches, allowing integrators to build flexible video and data distribution networks with any number of connections up to 576 ports.
To further ensure the overall integrity of the system, all Draco extenders include redundancy options that allow for a range of scenarios that should be implemented to guarantee system operation in the event of a link failure.
The full range of Ihse KVM products, including the new bidirectional KVM extenders for high-resolution video, will be available for demonstration at the ISE trade fair in Amsterdam, Stand 10-R120.
