The PI NetBox can now be used with all models in the PI series, from the PI 160 infrared camera (160 x 120 px), with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, to the PI 1M camera (764 x 480 px), with a maximum refresh rate of 1 kHz. The standalone device offers the significant advantage that the camera software can operate in parallel with the user software. The NetBox Utility and the factory-installed ControlCenter enable quick and easy commissioning and configuration. The built-in Watchdog function ensures fail-safe operation and thus reduces costs. The NetBox features a robust aluminum housing and compact dimensions of 113 x 57 x 47 mm.
The new NetBox comes equipped with the Windows 7 Professional operating system. The NetBox's key components include a COM Express® mini embedded board, an Intel® Quad Core processor with a clock speed of 1.91 GHz, and 2 GB of RAM, ensuring smooth operation of open-source software. The 16 GB SSD hard drive is expandable with micro SDHC or SDXC cards. In addition to keyboards and mice, other processing modules can be connected via the three USB ports. Power is supplied via 8-48 VDC or PoE.
