In addition to 4K UHD modules, available with numerous lens aperture angles, MOBOTIX presents the S74: the 4MP Day & Night Ultra LowLight sensor module with automatic switching between day and night modes. Ultra LowLight technology produces high-quality images even in the most challenging lighting conditions. Furthermore, the modules feature shorter exposure times, which enhances the sharpness of moving objects at dawn or dusk. The quality of the Ultra LowLight sensors is evident in their signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 0.19. This value represents up to four times the light sensitivity of a standard 4K UHD module.
Thanks to the optimized Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function, a single image can be generated from multiple shots with different exposure times, automatically brightening dark areas and eliminating glare.
With VGA thermal imaging technology and an expanded blind spot of up to 90° x 69°, it is possible to monitor large areas (perimeter protection) and record temperature differences at great distances.
The S74 is integrated into the open-source MOBOTIX 7 platform. Thanks to MOBOTIX camera applications, based on artificial intelligence and deep learning, the video system is compatible with specific security protocols and procedures. Furthermore, partners and customers can develop their own applications for specific requirements and integrate them into the MOBOTIX 7 open-source platform.
The S74 camera housing is made of electrostatically coated aluminum and features weatherproof USB-C ports. The S74's cybersecurity and data protection capabilities are evident in its decentralized architecture.
