New features in Axis Camera Station 3.5 include a 64-bit architecture and an increased number of supported video channels, from 50 to 100 per server. Axis Camera Station is compatible with the entire range of Axis Communications IP video products and currently boasts over 45,000 installations worldwide.Axis Camera Station is a comprehensive video viewing and recording system for up to 100 cameras. Axis Camera Station version 3.5 includes the "Image Enhancer" feature, which improves images taken in challenging conditions such as fog, dust, or snow. It also includes a viewer for exported sequences, eliminating the need for additional software to view them on any computer and simplifying distribution.It also incorporates a powerful search function with chronological viewing of recordings and export capabilities. Floor plan and map support allows for a panoramic view of the monitored area, as well as quick access to any IP camera in the installation. Controlling PTZ and dome cameras with a joystick or mouse offers responsive and precise control of pan, tilt, and zoom functions. Digital PTZ control is available for both live view and playback.
AXIS Camera Station 3.5 is an ideal video surveillance solution for retail establishments, hotels, schools, transportation hubs, banks, and other locations. It allows you to view, record, and export high-quality video and audio in H.264, MPEG-4, and Motion JPEG compression formats.
Some of the most relevant features of Axis Camera Station are its active tamper alarm capabilities, which detect if the cameras have been moved or covered to prevent image capture or if they have stopped working; video motion detection capabilities; the Corridor Format feature, which provides a 9:16 aspect ratio for HDTV cameras; and Cross Line Detection, which allows the establishment of virtual lines in the image that, if crossed, allow programmed actions such as recording, bringing the camera image window to the foreground, or sending alerts via email.
