With these new cameras, for the first time, advanced image processing algorithms for intelligent video analytics are available through the camera's firmware. Without additional licensing costs for the video analytics package, which currently comprises eight different application functions, MOBOTIX MOVE cameras can now be used even more efficiently in numerous applications: detection of abandoned objects; intruder detection; camera tampering; wrong-way detection (e.g., on an airport's entry/exit route); loitering detection (identifying both people and vehicles); stationary vehicle detection; counting objects, people, or vehicles; and triggering alerts for object removal (such as a picture disappearing from the wall).
Regarding the technical aspects, the common features of the new MOBOTIX MOVE VA cameras include dual shutter WDR and HDR (130 dB), H.264/H.265 M-JPEG multicodec, and support for Micro SD cards up to 265 GB. They also feature motion detection with eight video analytics functions, configurable real-time alerts and notifications, automatic day/night switching, and integrated IR illumination with a range of up to 40 meters. These devices integrate with the MOBOTIX MOVE NVR and boast an IP66 weatherproof rating, resistant to extreme temperatures. Thanks to a built-in heater, the MOBOTIX MOVE cameras continue to function in sub-zero temperatures as low as -55°C and in high temperatures up to 60°C
Also noteworthy is its high frame rate of up to 60 fps in linear mode (without WDR) and 30 fps in WDR mode, as well as its integrated 850mm infrared illumination with a range of up to 40m or more, depending on the scene. They are also equipped to increase shutter speed for capturing particularly fast-moving subjects, with a horizontal viewing angle of 102.1° to 31.5° and a vertical viewing angle of 70.3° to 22.7°.
Among other notable features, these devices support four individually adjustable video streams and offer enhanced light sensitivity. However, MOBOTIX MOVE cameras offer much more than just video. They have integrated two-way audio line-in and line-out and allow for text insertion. All of this is powered by PoE or a 12V DC or 24V VAC power supply.
Alongside these new references, the company has also launched and presented via webinars new updates for MOBOTIX MOVE regarding camera firmware, MOVE NVR and Apps, and the M73 and S74 cameras integrated with the open MOBOTIX 7 platform, among many other new features.
