This on-board video encoder, which supports all types of analog cameras, converts the analog signal into digital video streams that are transmitted over IP networks for viewing and recording on networked computers. The Q7414 supports high-performance H.264 and offers the ability to configure multiple video streams individually per channel at all resolutions and 25 frames per second. It provides four analog video channels, as well as four audio channels, enabling control center operators to communicate with any visitor. The built-in phantom power supply, with adjustable input gain, simplifies the installation of balanced audio line microphones.
This new on-board video encoder fits perfectly in the 1U -291 rack as well as the -Q7900, a high-density rack that supports up to 84 analog cameras.
The Q7414 includes video content analysis capabilities (also called intelligent video) such as enhanced video motion detection, anti-tampering alarm, and support for pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ) cameras per channel. This new on-board video encoder is supported by the Camera Station video management software and by the industry's largest software application base through the Application Developer Program.
