including cloud storage costs, compatibility with existing devices that don't allow direct cloud connectivity, and the need to maintain local operations during connectivity outages. With a stackable 2U rack-mount form factor, the Cloudlink 2210 enables large organizations to extend cloud-managed security to high-density, mission-critical environments without redesigning their existing infrastructure.
Like the rest of the Genetec Cloudlink family, the 2210 supports multiple workloads, including video management, access control, and intrusion detection, on a single appliance. By consolidating these workloads onto one device, it reduces system proliferation, simplifies management in large-scale environments, and lowers operating costs. Unlike solutions that separate workloads across multiple proprietary systems, the Genetec Cloudlink 2210 is based on an open architecture that supports a wide range of third-party devices, including cameras, access control systems, and intrusion panels. This enables organizations to modernize at scale within a unified, cloud-managed model designed to preserve architectural flexibility while securely integrating existing hardware, maintaining business continuity, and reducing migration risks.
“Companies don’t want to choose between innovation and operational certainty,” says Christian Chenard Lemire, Product Director for Unified Solutions at Genetec Inc. “With Cloudlink 2210, we’re redefining what cloud-managed physical security looks like at scale, giving organizations the freedom to modernize on their own terms, control costs over the long term, and maintain the resilience and continuity their most critical environments demand.”.
Designed for scalability and flexibility, the Cloudlink 2210 supports hundreds of connected devices per appliance and provides up to 240 TB of local storage per unit, making it particularly well-suited for deployments with high device density and extended retention policies. It is ideal for enterprise environments where availability and local retention requirements are operational priorities, as its design minimizes reliance on cloud storage, helping organizations control long-term storage costs while maintaining the performance and availability required in corporate environments.
Resilience for environments that cannot afford disruptions
The Cloudlink 2210 also incorporates hardware-level resilience to meet stringent availability and retention requirements. RAID-protected storage and redundant system components help ensure data protection and operating system availability. Security workloads continue to run locally, regardless of cloud connectivity, enabling continuity even during network outages. Dual network interfaces provide redundancy and allow network isolation for enhanced cybersecurity.
Scalability without infrastructure upgrades
Cloudlink 2210 scales by adding units as needs grow, allowing organizations to increase the number of devices and storage capacity without redesigning their infrastructure. Centralized cloud management maintains visibility and control across all deployments.
Greater flexibility in deployments and projects
The Genetec Cloudlink 2210 is part of Genetec's broader approach to deployment flexibility. The portfolio of cloud-managed appliances enables organizations to operate on-premises, in the cloud, or in hybrid environments according to their operational and regulatory requirements. By combining high-performance local processing and storage with centralized cloud operations and management, the Cloudlink 2210 enables scalable, cloud-managed deployments without compromising control or performance.
For channel partners, this flexibility enables them to tackle larger, more complex projects within a coherent framework of cloud-managed appliances. Integrators can simplify installation, accelerate deployment timelines, and scale predictably by adding units as needs grow. This approach is well-suited for customers with strict retention policies and hybrid environments that seamlessly blend on-premises infrastructure with Security Center SaaS.
Availability
Genetec Cloudlink 2210 will be showcased at ISC West at booth #13062 and is expected to begin global distribution in May 2026 through Genetec's network of accredited channel partners.
