WatchGuard offers a framework – called Trusted Wireless Environment – to build a complete Wi-Fi network that is fast, easy to manage, and secure.
The AP327X adds four N-type connectors to provide flexible antenna pattern coverage. It is an IP67-rated access point designed to operate under the most demanding conditions. Furthermore, the AP327X is an 802.11ac 2x2 MU-MIMO access point with concurrent dual-band 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz radios and data rates of up to 867 Mbps and 400 Mbps, respectively.

- Cloud-based Radio Resource Management (RRM): Dynamic RF optimization through intelligent steering, band steering, and optimal channel selection ensures maximum Wi-Fi performance and user experience.
- 2x Gigabit Ethernet ports: Offers network administrators the flexibility to connect the second Ethernet port and continue the connection to a switch or other network device.
- Cloud-based analysis and troubleshooting: Wi-Fi Cloud analyzes network traffic and automatically highlights anomalies, triggering alerts that allow network administrators to resolve issues before users report them.
- Overlay Wi-Fi security onto any Wi-Fi deployment. No need to copy and replace: Deploy WatchGuard APs on top of existing Wi-Fi deployments. When deployed as dedicated Wireless Intrusion Prevention System (WIPS) security sensors, the AP works with existing APs and provides 24/7 protection against wireless threats.
- Flexible management options: When you deploy an access point with WatchGuard Wi-Fi Cloud enabled using a Secure Wi-Fi or Total Wi-Fi license, you unlock the full potential of your WatchGuard access points with a powerful Wireless Intrusion Prevention System (WIPS), real-time analytics, and engagement and marketing tools. For a lighter feature set, manage any of the APs with Firebox using a basic Wi-Fi license.
