The intelligent beamforming mechanism, launched under the name RADWIN 5000 JET, provides a point-to-point-like experience for all base station clients at the same price as a point-to-multipoint solution. The JET system cancels radio interference and enables operation in the most congested unlicensed bands and under non-line-of-sight (NLOS) conditions, making it the ideal solution for broadband wireless applications.
JET, the next generation of the RADWIN 5000 PtMP series, offers backward compatibility with the installed base of the RADWIN 5000, enabling existing RADWIN customers to easily upgrade their network.
Both the new smart antennas and the innovative radio interface of the JET solution have been optimized for large-scale, high-density network deployments. JET thus enables service providers to offer broadband access with guaranteed SLAs in the unlicensed 5.x GHz band in dense urban areas.
For operators still using WiMAX, JET allows them to maximize the use of the limited licensed 3.x GHz spectrum.
