With a typical frequency and level switching time of 240 µs, the R&S SGT100A is the fastest generator in its class. The few microseconds of switching time required between various digital measurement signals accelerates sequences. Occupying only one rack unit in height and ½ 19" rack in width, the R&S SGT100A also saves space in the system setup.
The recommended maintenance interval is three years, and upgrades can be performed directly at the customer's site.
The device generates the measurement signals necessary for characterizing RF modules and components, such as amplifiers, or for measurements at femtocell base stations, for example.
The R&S SGT100A, together with the R&S FPS signal and spectrum analyzer, can be used as a mini-system for measuring high-frequency components at maximum speed.
