Keysight's new Infiniium UXR series enables designers of high-speed serial and optical devices, focused on current and next-generation technologies, to rapidly create complete designs with higher margins, thus shortening their time to market. Superior technical features, along with a wide selection of bandwidth options, make the Infiniium UXR series the ideal solution for engineers and designers working with any generation of DDR, USB, PCIe, or other serial bus technologies, as well as PAM4, 5G, radar, satellite communications, and optical designs.

“Today’s electronic and communications systems have become more complex and require next-generation testing and measurement,” said Jessy Cavazos, Director of Industry, Measurement, and Testing at Frost & Sullivan. “Keysight’s long history and extensive technical expertise in testing and measurement are clearly reflected in the new UXR oscilloscope series, which offers next-generation innovations to address the rapidly evolving measurement and compliance needs in optical, terabit, and high-speed digital research, 5G, RF, and the aerospace and defense markets.”.screenshot-Keysight-53-GBd-PAM4

Keysight's new Infiniium UXR series offers low noise and high vertical resolution to ensure measurements are unaffected by oscilloscope noise and that signals are accurately represented. This results in significantly wider eye charts, allowing for the determination of true margins and performance.
Keysight's Infiniium UXR series oscilloscopes, ranging from 13 to 110 GHz, enable designers to accelerate their time to market with:
• 10-bit vertical resolution and industry-leading signal integrity for effective bit count (ENOB), ensuring faster compatibility testing with higher margins.
• Sampling rates of 256 Gsamples per channel on 40 to 110 GHz models and 128 Gsamples per channel on 13 to 33 GHz models, for accurate reconstruction of high-speed signals.
• Up to four full-bandwidth channels with less than 35 fs (rms) intrinsic jitter between channels providing accurate timing and time-off measurements.

• An optional factory self-calibration module ensures continued measurement accuracy while eliminating the need to power down the unit.
• A Keysight indium phosphide (InP) process-based chipset enables exceptional bandwidth and extremely low noise floor.

Keysight has also announced two additional solutions that, when combined with the company’s Infiniium UXR Series oscilloscopes, provide a complete end-to-end solution, from stimulus to analysis, for PAM4 and 400G, 600G, and terabit coherent optical interconnected designs. These solutions include the following:
N4391B Optical Modulation Analyzer (OMA) : A compact, real-time, oscilloscope-based OMA specifically designed for complex optical data transmission and terabit measurement challenges.
M8194A 120 Gsample/s Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) : Keysight’s fastest AWG delivers a new level of stimulus performance for generating complex formats such as 64 Gbd 64 QAM (quadrature amplitude modulation) and other wideband modulation schemes.

“High-speed serial and optical technologies are continually pushing the boundaries of speed and technical capabilities as the development of terabit and 5th generation serial technologies accelerates,” said Dave Cipriani, Keysight Vice President, Photonics and Digital Center of Excellence. “Keysight’s expanded UXR oscilloscope series, UXR-based OMA, and fastest AWG together offer high-speed designers an unprecedented end-to-end solution to rapidly enhance their current technology development while protecting their future investment.”.
