This enables long ranges of up to 10 km and a long-life battery of up to 5 years. The radio units can be easily configured via WIKA's web-based IIoT cloud platform and the LoRaWAN® network, and in some cases also via mobile devices using the "myWIKA wireless device" app. In addition to the license-free LoRaWAN® and mioty® radio standards, the NETRIS®1 instrument uses Bluetooth® for configuration and short-range data transmission.
NETRIS® connection bridges provide even greater flexibility when establishing a monitoring strategy for any industrial unit, while complying with cybersecurity regulations.
Existing sensors used in industrial processes can be connected to the compact NETRIS®1 and 2 radio units to transmit measured data for Big Data analysis. The NETRIS®2 can receive data via two 4–20 mA analog input signals and allows for battery swapping. The NETRIS®3 is the dedicated communication bridge for our range of ATEX sensors. With the launch of these three new NETRIS® modules, WIKA is enabling manufacturers to increase the digitalization potential of their plants and processes by transforming instruments with standard analog outputs into wireless communication instruments.
