D-Link DAP-1665 Dual Band Wi-Fi AC 1200 Range Extender.
These are the five operating modes of the DAP-1665:
• Wi-Fi Repeater (Range Extender): Connects to an existing Wi-Fi network to extend its signal and expand coverage.
• Access Point (AP) Mode: Connects the device to the router via cable to create a new Wi-Fi network.
• Wireless Client Mode: Connects to an existing Wi-Fi network to connect other devices without Wi-Fi via LAN cable, such as game consoles, Smart TVs, NAS hard drives, etc.
• Bridge Mode: Connects to a router or AP in transparent mode to create a wireless connection between two separate wired networks.
• Bridge + AP Mode: Same as the previous mode, but also creates an access point.

Operating modes of the D-Link DAP-1665

The DAP-1665 Range Extender incorporates the latest Wi-Fi AC wireless technology with simultaneous dual-band 2.4/5GHz to achieve a combined speed of 1200 Mbps (300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band). It has two detachable external dual 5 dBi antennas in a 2T2R MIMO configuration.

The DAP-1665 is very easy to set up thanks to its web interface. It offers advanced features such as QoS to prioritize data traffic for multimedia applications, WPA-2/PSK Enterprise wireless encryption, Wireless LAN partitioning, MAC address filtering, IGMP snooping, Wi-Fi protected setup (WPS), and IPv6 support in AP mode.
