Full speed ahead!
As part of a broad modernization program, Poland's railway network is being upgraded with a state-of-the-art embedded control system custom-designed to meet stringent international safety standards.
LAPP announces the launch of EPIC® ClickConnect M12A, an innovative connector system designed to optimize installation in industrial automation, IIoT and advanced machinery environments.
The HARTING Technology Group is proud to introduce the new PushPull V4 Power QuickLock, an innovative addition to the established PushPull connector family. This new product incorporates Han QuickLock termination technology, enabling quick, tool-free assembly directly at the installation site.
TE Connectivity (TE) introduces a hybrid Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) connector in M12 format. This development helps users connect systems and machines within factory networks.
Phoenix Contact offers M12 angled connectors for reflow processing (THR), specially developed for automated production. The connector enables efficient assembly processes, and its angled design allows for flexible positioning on the printed circuit board, even in confined spaces.
Powell Electronics offers Harting's Han-Modular Domino modules, which enable a hybrid combination of transmission media in a single module. Just as a domino has two separate fields, a domino module is composed of two "cubes." The mating face consists of two nearly square areas that can also accommodate larger contacts.
These mini PushPull interface connectors comply with IEC 63171-6, making them the ideal connection interface for Single Pair Ethernet (SPE). These industrial connectors enable IP-based communication down to the field level, connecting sensors, actuators, and other field devices to Ethernet networks seamlessly. The ability to integrate Ethernet interfaces into simple sensors, cameras, reading/ID devices, or similar equipment allows for the implementation of Integrated Industry and IIoT technologies.
Mouser now distributes TE Connectivity's heavy-duty sealed connectors with MATEnet inserts. TE Connectivity has leveraged the reliability and scalability of its heavy-duty sealed connector series with high-performance MATEnet inserts to offer designers a versatile connector that incorporates power and Ethernet connectivity up to 1 Gbps. These hybrid signal-to-power connectors are highly adaptable and modular Ethernet connector solutions, manufactured to meet diverse customer needs for data transmission and power applications in the automotive and industrial markets.
During the machine design process, several factors are considered, such as functionality, safety, size, weight, reliability, and connectivity. When it comes to connectivity, it's important to differentiate between power, analog or digital signals, and data when selecting a connector, as these require different characteristics. To meet this challenge, companies use either standard connector systems available on the market or those historically used within their own organization.
Phoenix Contact has expanded its M12 range with new internally locking push-pull connectors. The locking system, compatible with any manufacturer and based on IEC 61076-2-010, allows for easy wiring and space-saving equipment connections.
Phoenix Contact introduces the new M12 POWER connectors with Push-Lock connection, enabling simple and secure conductor connection for AC and DC applications up to 16 A and 690 V without tools. The conductor clamping chambers open and close easily with a lever.
Phoenix Contact offers compact, rectangular industrial connectors for the reliable connection of motors and frequency converters, or for the simple wiring of distributed systems in automation technology. The new HEAVYCON COM housings are available in metal and plastic.

Phoenix Contact introduces the new surface-mount and high-rise housings for the Heavycon Standard B series of connectors, suitable for modular applications. The taller design and larger cable outlets in the M50 provide more space for wiring. This allows for the connection of larger cable diameters and cable bundles.
Single-pair Ethernet communication, also called SPE or 1000Base-T1, based on IEEE 802.3 transmission standards, is being integrated into new generations of automobiles.
TE Connectivity (TE) has begun offering robust, right-angle, X-code M12 connectors for field assembly in a variety of rail applications. The new connectors enable secure and reliable data transmission speeds of 10 Gb/s, even in harsh environments.
TE Connectivity (TE) introduces a new series of Ethernet connectors with integrated magnetic elements and Power over Ethernet (PoE) designed for industrial applications.
The new Heavycon EVO M1 plastic housings from Phoenix Contact accommodate a modular contact holder. They are smaller and more cost-effective than a B6 interface. Like all EVO housings, the M1 single-module housings also feature a rotating cable gland with a bayonet lock. This reduces stock by 70 percent and increases flexibility.
Würth Elektronik eiSos continues to expand its range of USB connectors. The WR-COM series includes the new USB 3.1 standard as well as 3.0 and 2.0. Data rates of 10 Gbit/s (USB 3.1 Gen 2) and 100 W power delivery make USB 3.1 ideal for demanding industrial applications.
The components in Harwin's new M225 connector series are capable of withstanding 10G vibration for 6 hours and are designed for industrial applications. These compact, high-performance wire-to-board connectors feature a robust construction for extended service life, thanks to their glass-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) housings with a minimum insulation resistance of 100MΩ, ensuring continuous signal integrity.
Amphenol Socapex introduces the latest member of its high-speed connector family, a 10 Gb/s Category 6A Ethernet solution integrated into a housing based on the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III: The TVμCom-10Gb+
