MaxiBridge connectors enable efficient, space-saving connections between printed circuit boards and peripheral units such as lamps, displays, panels, LEDs, switches, and sensors. This system is extremely versatile thanks to the availability of male and female connectors, both straight and angled, with a 180° cable entry. A robust tongue-and-groove system also ensures a high level of reliability even under vibration. MaxiBridge connectors are now also available with a colorless (white) insulating coating that prevents screening in lighting applications.
MaxiBridge cable connectors are supplied with 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 20 pins. The male connectors have SMT terminals for cost-effective manufacturing, while the female versions have crimp contacts and can carry up to 12 A per contact. It is possible to process stranded conductors with AWG 18, 20, 22, 24, and 26. Incorrect connections are prevented with four different color codes per pin number.
Single-row MiniBridge connectors with a 1.27 mm pitch are designed for a wide range of lighting applications where space is often limited. Examples include LCD/TFT/LED displays, portable devices, and control panel components. They are also suitable for automotive electronics, with applications such as front and rear LED lights, IR distance sensors, virtual displays, and switching elements. Thanks to their extremely compact design and ability to carry high currents (up to 8 A/contact), MiniBridge components are ideal for LED lighting systems. These are often connected via wire or designed as modular connectors that plug into the board. Assembled MiniBridge wire connectors can accommodate both flat cables and discrete wires, facilitating particularly simple, flexible, and cost-effective installation. MiniBridge connectors are also available with a white insulating coating.
