The compact Nano-Fit connectors, with a 2.50 mm pitch, have a power rating of up to 4.0 A. “Saving up to 69% of the space on the printed circuit board compared to similarly rated connectors currently available, the Nano-Fit features the smallest fully insulated head on the market,” says Corey Schroeder.
With a 3.50 mm pitch, the Ultra-Fit power connectors deliver 12.0 A. Corey Schroeder comments: “With a footprint 20% smaller than comparable power connectors, the Ultra-Fit provides customers with significant PCB space savings while offering the highest current density in its class.”
Both Nano-Fit and Ultra-Fit power connectors are distinguished by the superior housing features of the Micro-Fit, Mini-Fit, and Mega-Fit connection systems, such as polarized housings with positive locking, color-coded housings, and mechanical keying with fully insulated heads, which mitigate the risk of mis-mapping. An optional Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) device significantly reduces terminal disconnection. Furthermore, the ultra-low mating force simplifies assembly and helps minimize operator fatigue when mating numerous high-voltage connectors.
The housing with a positive locking mechanism ensures that the connector assemblies will not accidentally detach, while the fully insulated head protects the terminals from potential damage during handling and coupling.
