The UTL Power + Control connector has six contacts: three for power and three for signal. Optionally, the connectors can be overmolded to provide customers with turnkey solutions featuring fully integrated wiring harnesses for quick and secure installation.
With its ergonomic locking system and push-pull tactile closure, it's easy to connect even in hard-to-see and hard-to-reach places. An audible click confirms that the connections are properly mated and locked. The Souriau UTL Power + Control is a power-cutting connector.
It's also very robust. Its locking system keeps it securely in place, ensuring an IP68/69K rating. Designed for use in the harshest climates, including immersion in water, it withstands all weather conditions and has a housing made of a proprietary polyamide that offers superior UV (ultraviolet) radiation resistance. The UTL Power + Control is covered by a five-year warranty for outdoor use with UV exposure.
It has a durability of 1000 mating cycles and resists vibrations from 10 to 2000 Hz, according to IEC 60512-4. It can be used at temperatures from -40°C to 105°C, conforms to smoke and fire standards, and has a salt spray resistance of more than 1000 hours.
