To create local stations, the I/O modules of the Axioline I/O system can be connected in series via the integrated Axiobus. The controller's Ethernet interfaces allow it to be integrated into existing networks and connect other decentralized I/O modules. For this purpose, the user can choose between TCP/IP, UDP, Modbus/TCP, or Profinet communication protocols.
An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) provides the Axiocontrol controller with robust protection against power outages. This enables system availability measures to be implemented in the event of a power failure. For particularly demanding environments, the compact AXC 1050/XC controller with an extended operating temperature range (-40 to +60 °C) is available.
