Anybus-CompactCom (Anybus-CC) modules provide instant connectivity to all major fieldbuses, industrial Ethernet protocols, serial, USB, and wireless networks without requiring any hardware or software changes to your automation device. Anybus-CC is the latest range of communication interfaces from HMS Industrial Networks, based on the proven Anybus technology with over 900,000 modules sold worldwide. With its innovative design and versatile functionality, Anybus-CC offers optimal flexibility and speed to market for automation device manufacturers.
Developed and powered in collaboration with the Anybus NP30 network communications processor, Anybus-CC combines high performance and functionality with low power consumption. Its high level of integration allows for a smaller size and very competitive pricing.
Anybus-CC offers automation devices with an interface option that allows instant connectivity to all major industrial networks. Any automation device with an integrated Anybus-CC slot can use any Anybus-CC module. For example, you can simply replace an Anybus-CC Profibus module with an Anybus-CC EtherNet/IP module, and the module will instantly connect to that network without requiring any hardware or software changes to your automation device.
Anybus-CC is supplied in two standard versions: one with a housing and one without. The robust plastic housing completely encloses the electronics and allows for easy handling at any point in the supply chain between the manufacturer and the end customer
Anybus-CC has been designed to adapt to many types of industrial automation devices. HMIs, robot controllers, micro PLC units, valves, instruments, scales, temperature controllers, barcode readers, I/O blocks, welding controllers, and RFID applications are just some of the automation devices that are currently using Anybus-CC technology for its optional network interface.
