All MapIT G2 SPPs, including the new angled versions, feature an integrated LCD screen that provides connection status, diagnostics, and dynamic labeling information. The LCD screen offers technicians more detailed instructions than traditional non-intelligent panels or those with only LEDs. The ability to monitor and display patching in real time and perform diagnostics through its integrated interface reduces troubleshooting time and speeds up work order completion.
The new SPP's angled 24-port, 1U design allows patch cables to be routed directly into the vertical cable pass-throughs, eliminating the need for horizontal cable pass-throughs, saving rack space and maximizing data center density.

Designed specifically for users planning for future IIM system deployments, these field-upgradeable panels can be installed as standard patch panels and later upgraded as needed to intelligent SPPs, without downtime, simply by adding MapIT G2 electronics. This capability provides a simple and cost-effective IIM migration system.
