Outdoor splice protector
C3, Cables y Componentes para Comunicaciones, SL, of the Cofitel Group, presents the GPJ09L7-BR optical splice protector (torpedo) for outdoor applications, which has seven entrances and ten trays for twenty-four splices.
It is supplied as a kit, consisting of: GPJ09L7-BR closure, sealing tape, tray, fixing elements, locking ring, twelve fixing clamps, abrasive paper, silver tape and mounting accessories.
To meet all types of application requirements, these splice protectors also offer a number of optional components, including grounding assembly, pressurization valve, heat shrink tubing, and spacers.
Suitable for use in aerial or buried splices, the torpedoes constructed with high-quality plastic material are appropriate for bleeding cables with tube housing, as they have one oval port and seven cylindrical ports.
They measure 260 mm (base) x 478 mm (height), weigh about 5,800 grams, their operating temperature range is between -40 and +55 °C, and their protection rating is IP68.
