The administrator can set a lockout control period for the fusion splicer and its status, such as "stolen" or "not", while the tool can be encrypted for lockout after a pre-set communication interruption time.
Therefore, if the fusion splicer is configured as "stolen," it cannot be unlocked (used), even if the connection to the server is re-established during that time. Furthermore, after activating the SIM card as stolen and initiating the disconnection countdown with the server, it is possible to locate the device using the geolocation (GPS) function.
