The View 8+ offers a splice time of six seconds and a warm-up time of only nine seconds and has a 9000 mAh battery (capable of up to 355 cycles) to ensure maximum possible efficiency.
This fusion splicer with a 5” HD LCD touchscreen is supported by a mobile application (app) that helps simplify the daily work of technicians and save time and money.
Compatible with iOS and Android, the app includes multiple functions and the ability to generate reports (all data can be saved and stored in a PDF file) and allows you to review work in progress from the smart terminal.
For example, the locking function ensures the connection between the mobile phone and the fusion splicer at all times.
This premium model can work with virtually all optical fibers, including single-mode (ITU-T G.652 & G.657), multi-mode (ITU-T G.651), DS (ITU-T G.653) and NZDS (ITU-T G.655).
The View 8+ also features a USB2.0 / mini USB port, white LEDs (for illuminating dark environments), a ceramic clamp, a long-life electrode (5,500 arcs), automatic arc compensation and calibration, 128 splice modes (45 of them preset), 32 heating modes, four display modes, and 320x zoom.
With the aim of providing a complete solution, the new fusion splicer is supplied with a good number of accessories: V7+ cleaver, FH-40 universal fiber holder, FH-SOC SOC fiber holder, HTS-SOC SOC heater cover, JS-180300 AC adapter, CG-22 cooling tray, E-50 electrode, EG-18 grinder, LBT-30 battery pack, ACC-25 power cable, TK02-AP01 alcohol dispenser, TK02-MP01 stripper and lighter cable in a carrying bag.
To make it easier to use, the View 8+ has a compact and lightweight design (162 x 147 x 157 mm, including the rubber protective edges, and 2.78 kilograms, with battery).
Given its status as equipment for external plant work, it is water resistant (IPx2), drop resistant (up to 76 cm) and dust resistant (IP5x9).
