Magirus Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Christian Magirus has been appointed Executive Vice President of Services for Avnet Technology Solutions in EMEA and will join the regional leadership team. This appointment underscores Avnet's commitment to developing service offerings that support the growth of its business partners and drive demand for its suppliers' products.
Christian Magirus will be responsible for the WBT, Client Solutions, Ascendant, and Canvas services businesses, as well as Colt and Mattelli cloud services. He will have decision-making authority over these areas in all countries, except for reseller services.
Fabian von Kuenheim, Magirus CEO, will step back from day-to-day operations but will retain his position and serve Avnet in an advisory capacity. Magirus executives Gert Weber, Vice President of Operations and IT; Martin Lauer, Vice President of Finance, Credit, and Collections; Petra Speidel, Vice President of Finance and Administration; and Andreas Bockwinkel, Chief Control Officer, will also assume key executive roles at Avnet.
Graeme Watt, President of Avnet Technology Solutions in EMEA, commented, “This structure will further enhance collaboration and speed of execution between country and EMEA operations, enabling us to accelerate regionalization and centralization of resources to better support the business’s growth.”
Avnet Technology Solutions in EMEA will operate with a four-region structure to facilitate speed of execution and coordination. Sukh Rayat, Senior Vice President for UK, Ireland, and embedded solutions and IT components organizations, will lead the Northern Region. Roman Rudolf and Judith Ecker, both Vice Presidents, will lead the Central and Eastern Regions, respectively. Miriam Murphy, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will oversee the entire Eastern Region in addition to her current responsibilities.

As part of the changes implemented in the new structure, Magirus' former Vice President of Sales for the Eastern Region, Joerg Speikamp, will be leaving the organization. “Magirus and Avnet would like to thank Joerg for his commitment to Magirus over the past 16 years and his contribution to the integration process. We wish him all the best for the future,” Watt stated.
Ad van de Noort assumes the role of CSO EMEA at LAPP Group
On January 1, 2026, Ad van de Noort officially assumed the role of CSO EMEA at LAPP Group. Since June 2025, he had been leading sales for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region on an interim basis.
