She joined Indra in 2011 as Director of the Energy market. In January 2013, she was appointed Deputy General Manager and assumed responsibility for the Consulting, Energy, and Telecom & Media businesses. Most recently, she was responsible for Minsait and the vertical businesses in Information Technology. She possesses extensive knowledge and successful experience in team and business management, as well as in the development of cutting-edge businesses, such as Minsait, Indra's digital transformation unit.
Indra's Board of Directors has appointed Cristina Ruiz Ortega as Executive Director of the company, with responsibility for the IT business and reporting directly to the Executive Chairman, Fernando Abril-Martorell.
