The executive will be responsible for deciding and establishing Commvault's growth strategy in the Iberian region, at a time when the company is experiencing rapid expansion thanks to the success of its information management solutions and services, designed to deliver innovation and real value to its clients. Martín will contribute his experience in guiding the company toward a focus on professional services, a key element in the region.
Gabriel Martín has a distinguished career in information technology, particularly in the backup, security, and data management industries, where he has led the business of major companies in international markets. His experience and customer knowledge in the enterprise and mid-market sectors will contribute to accelerating Commvault's business in Spain and Portugal.
Before joining Commvault, he served as Country Manager for Iberia and Senior Regional Director of ISP for Italy, Spain, and Portugal at Symantec. Previously, he held various senior positions at companies such as Business Objects and Mercury Interactive, both as Country Manager, and Compuware, De La Rue, and Panasonic, as Sales Director.
Gabriel Martín Francesconi holds a law degree from the San Pablo-CEU University of Madrid and speaks English, Italian and French, in addition to Spanish.
